It is rare, but not unheard of, for a former President to criticize his successor on policy issues.  However; Obama has stepped forward to speak against President Trump’s decision to end DACA (Deferred Action Against Childhood Arrivals).

Obama stated, “The action taken today isn’t required legally”.  He further went on, calling the cancellation of his Executive Order to begin DACA “…cruel”.
