Nine people were shot in Baltimore on Monday, including a quadruple shooting that killed one amid a drug dispute in Northwest Baltimore.
Officers were called at 9:30 a.m. to the area of Cottage and Park Heights avenues for a shooting involving multiple victims. Police also responded to nearby Ulman Avenue, after people fled from the initial scene, police said.
A 54-year-old man shot in the upper body was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, said police spokesman T.J. Smith.
Police did not release his name Monday afternoon.
