Ravens Reload Through 2024 NFL Draft

Coming off a 13-4 season in 2023, the Baltimore Ravens entered the 2024 NFL Draft with the 30th overall pick and a total of nine selections over the three-day event. With several veterans departing in the offseason, the Ravens were expected to target positions like offensive line, wide receiver, and defensive back.

In the first round, the Ravens selected cornerback Nate Wiggins from Clemson with the 30th pick. Wiggins, a first-team All-ACC selection in 2023, recorded nine pass breakups and two interceptions, and will join the Ravens’ secondary alongside Marlon Humphrey and Brandon Stephens.

The Ravens continued to bolster their offensive line in the second round, selecting offensive tackle Roger Rosengarten from Washington. Rosengarten, part of the nation’s best offensive line in 2023, will compete for a starting spot opposite Ronnie Stanley.

In the third round, the Ravens added edge rusher Adisa Isaac from Penn State. Isaac, a second-team All-Big Ten Conference selection, led the Nittany Lions with 16 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks in 2023, and will join fellow Penn State alum Odafe Oweh in the Ravens’ pass rush.

The Ravens’ remaining draft picks included:

  • 4th round (113th overall): WR Devontez Walker, North Carolina
  • 4th round (130th overall): CB T.J. Tampa, Iowa State
  • 5th round (165th overall): RB Rasheen Ali, Marshall
  • 7th round (218th overall): QB Devin Leary, Kentucky
  • 7th round (228th overall): C Nick Samac, Michigan State
  • 7th round (250th overall): S Sanoussi Kane, Purdue

With a blend of offensive and defensive reinforcements, the Ravens aimed to fortify their roster and maintain their status as contenders in the AFC. General Manager Eric DeCosta remained committed to a “best player available” approach, adding talent to complement the team’s existing core.
