A stabbing incident occurred at White Marsh Mall on Saturday afternoon, with the stabbing taking place inside one of the major retail stores.

According to police radio transmissions, a female shoplifter stabbed a worker before fleeing the store.

The Baltimore County Police have reported that the male victim is expected to recover from his injuries.

This stabbing comes just one week after a shooting incident near White Marsh Mall, where police responded to several calls about a shooting and found a female victim.

Sadek, a resident of White Marsh for over 20 years, expressed his shock upon learning about the stabbing as he was heading into the retail store where it occurred.

“It’s quite shocking to say the least. I’ve lived in White Marsh for 20 plus years,” said Sadek.

The recent incidents have raised concerns for Sadek, who stated, “I’ll definitely be cautious, you know. For everyone that lives here, it’s quite concerning.”

Last year, a man was shot near the mall and was subsequently dropped off at the Olive Garden across from the mall. Michael A. Carthen, 52, and a 17-year-old were arrested in connection with that shooting incident.
