Man sentenced to 40 years for murder of 91-year-old Perry Hall man

A 40-year-old Baltimore man, Gary Parrish, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for the 2021 murder of Norman Albert in Baltimore County.

According to authorities, Norman Albert’s body was discovered inside his Baltimore County home last summer. An investigation led police to arrest Gary Parrish for Albert’s murder.

Police reported that Parrish was acquainted with the victim and would sometimes run errands for him. The nature of their relationship and the circumstances surrounding Albert’s death were not disclosed.

In November, a jury convicted Parrish of second-degree murder for the killing of Norman Albert. Parrish was sentenced in Baltimore County Circuit Court to 40 years in prison for the murder.

With his lengthy prison sentence, Parrish will not be eligible for parole until he is in his late 70s. The case represents another homicide solved by Baltimore area law enforcement as they combat violent crime in the region.
