Del. Nino Mangione on Violent Juveniles: “Needs Swift, Serious Repercussions”

(WBFF) — The armed robbery Baltimore County Police say was committed by two juveniles in a Wal-Mart parking lot last week has reignited calls for juvenile justice reform.

“The State of Maryland. We continue to send the exact wrong message to youth offenders and violent offenders that we accept your behavior, we’ll make excuses for it. That was the wrong message. It was wrong then. It’s wrong now when we passed this juvenile justice reform. This is just another perfect example of that,” said MD Delegate Nino Mangione.

Mangione echoed the frustration voiced by people, police, and prosecutors.
