Gov. Hogan Wants to Widen I-695, Turn Shoulders Into Travel Lanes

BALTIMORE (WBFF) – Gov. Hogan announced plans Tuesday to widen 19 miles of I-695, as part of a $461 million traffic-relief initiative for the Baltimore region.

The plan would turn the fast-lane shoulders into travel lanes on both the inner and outer loops of I-695, between I-70 and Route 43/White Marsh Boulevard, according to a press release.
