Police ID Suspect In Towson Area Bank Holdup

TOWSON, MD — Police identified the suspect in Sunday’s bank robbery at the PNC in Giant food store near Towson as a Baltimore man. Melvin McDougald, 54, of the 4500 block of Northwood Drive, has been charged.

Police said that McDougald went into the bank at 6340 York Road around 1 p.m., showed he had a gun and handed a note to the teller demanding money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to officials.
