SYLACAUGA, Ala. (WBMA) – Four black men are facing assault charges in connection with thebeating of a white Alabama high school student who had posted pro-police comments online.
Sylacauga Police Chief Kelley Johnson announced Tuesday four arrests in connection with an assault of a 17-year-old last month.
According to a release, two teenagers, ages 18 and 19, and two 20-year-olds were arrested on felony assault charges in connection with a Sept. 30 attack that left Brian Ogle with a fractured skull and brain trauma. Ogle’s mother described the parking lot assault as a “hate crime.”
