Gov. Larry Hogan said Thursday he is nearing the end of his cancer treatment.
“I’m feeling great, and I’ve been cancer free for nearly a year,” Hogan told reporters at a blood drive for the Red Cross held outside the governor’s mansion in Annapolis.
Hogan’s non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma went into remission about a year ago and he has been doing monthly chemotherapy treatments since then. At the time of remission, his doctors said the chance for relapse was low.
