Police: Homeowner Answering Knock at Door Shot Multiple Times in Dundalk

DUNDALK, Md. (WBFF) – Baltimore County Police were called to a shooting Monday night in Dundalk which they say happened when a homeowner answered a knock at his back door.

Officers responded around 8:20 p.m. to a reported shooting at a home on Eastdale Rd. by 53rd St. near the Colgate Recreation Area. The homeowner, a 35-year-old man, was struck by gunfire multiple times in the upper body and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The victim is expected to survive. Officers say an unknown suspect seen outside the door fled the scene.
