Texas Sen. Ted Cruz will make his debut campaign appearance in Maryland on Monday afternoon at a rally in Towson, his campaign said Sunday.
His visit will come roughly a week before Maryland’s primary on April 26, which has garnered more attention than usual. Ohio Gov. John Kasich has campaigned in the state once already and has another event scheduled this week; front runner Donald Trumpis said to be planning an event.
