BALTIMORE: Fleas and Mice Force Polling Place to Close Early

Election officials are trying to sort out some of the problems voters had to deal with while they were casting their ballots during the primary election.

In Baltimore City, three precincts got off to a late start, and a court ruling kept one polling place open an extra hour to make up for the lost time.

In Cherry Hill, fleas and mice were found inside Patapsco Elementary school and this forced the polling place to close by mid afternoon, and voters were directed to another location.
