Rep. Andy Harris from Maryland and many other Republicans sadly joined Nancy Pelosi and voted to send $40,000,000,000 to Ukraine in the middle of record inflation, a border invasion, and a baby formula shortage and record gas prices in America!
Hogan sending millions in medical supplies, body armor to Ukraine
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced Tuesday the shipment of a multimillion dollar aid package to Odesa, Ukraine, including medical supplies and body armor.
Odesa is a sister city of Baltimore. Russian troops pounded the vital Ukrainian port on Tuesday, Ukrainian officials said, an apparent effort to disrupt the supply lines and Western weapons shipments critical to Kyiv’s defense.
The Maryland Department of Health is donating more than 485,000 bandages and wound care supplies, 95 Eternity mechanical ventilators for intensive care units and 50 Astral portable ventilators, the governor’s office said.
The package also includes nearly 200 pieces of body armor, including tactical vests and shields, which have been donated by the Maryland State Police.
This week, WCBM ended a long partnership with the Coast to Coast nationally syndicated radio show. For decades, C2C offered a unique and different perspective in our overnight schedule. Unfortunately, over the last year C2C has underperformed in ratings and it became necessary to make a business decision to part company. We thank Premiere Radio Networks and the hosts and staff of C2C for all the years of excellent service and programming and wish you the best going forward.
As to WCBM, we begin another chapter in our evening and overnight programming as we launch the new nationally-syndicated Bill O’Reilly No Spin News Hour(weeknights at ten). Todd Starnes shifts to weeknights at 11pm followed by the Derek Hunter Show(Replay) at 2am Tuesday through Saturday.
On the weekends, the overnight slot will be filled with a Bill O’Reilly No Spin News Hour Replay (Sunday & Monday at 1am) followed by the Best of Rob Carson (Sunday & Monday at 2am).
This will give our overnight listeners a chance to hear some of our daytime shows as well. It’s an important midterm election year and I feel it is vital to offer as much topical and issue-driven programming as possible. I will continue to seek out programs with this in mind and strive to bring the best talk radio programming to the Baltimore metro area.
Thank you for your continued support and listening.
