Hogan Eliminates All Fees for E-ZPass Transponders

Gov. Larry Hogan announced the elimination of all fees for owning an E-ZPass transponder ahead of Memorial Day weekend.

Effective Wednesday, Hogan said the Maryland Transportation Authority will no longer charge a $7.50 fee to new E-ZPass customers. The agency will also replace nearly 400,000 aged transponders that are currently in circulation at no cost.
