Darryl De Sousa Confirmed as Baltimore Police Commissioner

BALTIMORE (WBFF) – The Baltimore City Council has confirmed Darryl De Sousa as the city’s new police commissioner.
The vote was almost unanimous. It was a 14-1 vote Monday night, with Councilman Ryan Dorsey the only one opposing.
Standing to explain his vote, Dorsey told council members that he was not satisfied with De Sousa’s answers during last week’s hearing and he said he was disappointed that he could not review De Sousa’s internal affairs record.
