BALTIMORE (WBFF) – On the day Baltimore City Council confirmed a new police commissioner, three people were shot – two of them fatally – within half an hour early Monday evening.

The shootings happened in northeast Baltimore and south Baltimore, reported Baltimore police.

At 6:36 p.m., officers found two men shot on 6th Street in Brooklyn, near Audrey Avenue.
