Police: Car That Killed 4 in Westminster was Driving 100+ MPH

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WBFF) – A crash in Carroll County Tuesday afternoon left four people dead, confirmed Westminster fire officials.

Three cars were involved in the crash, at Routes 31 and 852/Old New Windsor Pike, said officials. The third car’s occupants had minor injuries.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy tried to stop the vehicle when he saw it traveling at a high rate of speed; his radar unit confirmed it was driving in excess of 100 miles per hour.
