FBI: ‘American League’ Bank Robber Caught After Targeting Baltimore, D.C., Area

BALTIMORE (WBFF) – A man known as the “American League” bank robber has been apprehended after robbing multiple banks in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., area, said the FBI.

The FBI made the announcement July 14 but did not immediately release details of his identity.

In each of the robberies, the suspect was wearing a black baseball hat with a Baltimore Orioles or New York Yankees logo and a sticker on the brim.

He is accused of robbing the following banks on the following dates:

-November 7, 2016: Rosedale Federal located at 6708 Belair Road in Baltimore, MD

-December 10, 2016: Columbia Bank located at 67 West Aylesbury Road in Timonium, MD

-January 26, 2017: Howard Bank located at 116 Defense Highway in Annapolis, MD
