He writes that while he may have disagreed with the City Paper’s editorial bent, losing more reporters is bad for democracy.

HOGAN OPPOSES OFFSHORE DRILLING: Gov. Larry Hogan said last week he’s against gas drilling off of Maryland’s coast, and as President Donald Trump’s administration considers seismic testing to search for energy reserves, state officials are asking the federal government to more closely study its impact, reports Scott Dance in the Sun.
