New 9/11 Tribute Museum Triple In Size Of National Memorial
June 17, 2017
From BARE NAKED ISLAM – The 9/11 Tribute Museum is separate from the National September 11th Memorial & Museum, which is located a few blocks away. It is triple the size of the former location with many new exhibits.
The Tribute Museum was created by people who lost loved ones on 9/11. It is a space where their personal stories, photos and artifacts are shared with visitors through walking tours. Many of the tours are led by people who suffered the loss of a family member on that day, such as retired firefighter Lee Lelpi whose firefighter son Jonathan Ielpi was killed.
