Gov. Hogan Stays Out of MD Attorney General Suing President Trump

Governor Larry Hogan offered little reaction to Maryland’s top cop suing the President of the United States.

On Monday the Governor released a statement saying, “Per the resolution passed by the General Assembly, the Governor’s office no longer has a role in this process.”

The Attorneys General of Maryland and DC say President Trump’s business empire violates the constitution’s emoluments clause, which prevents him from making money of foreign governments.
