Secret Service Responds To FOIA Request: “There are no tapes of Comey/Trump Conversations

Tapes of conversations between former FBI Director James Comey and President Donald Trump don’t exist, the Secret Service told The Wall Street Journal in response to a Freedom of Information Request filed by the newspaper.

 

Just because the Secret Service doesn’t have tapes doesn’t mean other agencies don’t, the Journal reports, but the Secret Service has handled recording systems within the White House for past presidents.
