Police Reveal Identity of Possible “Aviator” Serial Bank Robber

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police have released the name of the man they say robbed a Pikesville Wells Fargo, resulting in an officer fatally shooting a man.

A man hidden by large aviator sunglasses, the suspect initially referred to as “The Aviator,” is 45-year-old Michael Stratton. Police say he’s a suspect wanted by the FBI.

Baltimore County Police say he’s the one who robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Pikesville, and they believe he’s been involved in several bank robberies in the area. He appeared at the teller passing a note, and fled in a car following the heist.
