Howard County Police have released the 911 calls placed during the historic flooding in Ellicott City Saturday night.
In one call, a woman describes the scene while trapped inside of a building on Main Street with a group of people. The woman, and others in the background, can be heard screaming as water pushes in through the floor.
“The building is buckling and there’s water on the inside. We can feel the building crumbling a little bit,” she says on the call, before she and her companions find an exit to higher ground through a back door.
