Arrest Made In Baltimore’s Memorial Day Quintuple Shooting

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police say a hit man for hire opened fire at a Memorial Day cookout, injuring five people—and that same suspect is linked to another high profile investigation.

Meghan McCorkell spoke with one of the victims.

David Warren was arrested last year when police raided an organization meant to fight crime in the community, but all charges were dropped against him.

Police say 23-year-old David Warren is a member of the Ten Grand Club, a gang of hit men for hire.

“He’s a person of interest in more than one crime of violence,” said Commissioner Kevin Davis.

Investigators say Warren was inside a car and opened fire on five people who were having a cookout along East 43rd Street.
