Michael Savage nominated for National Radio Hall of Fame

Dr. Michael Savage, host of the nationally syndicated “The Savage Nation”, has been nominated for the National Radio Hall of Fame class of 2016.

Dr. Savage was nominated in the category of Spoken Word On-Air Personality. For more than 22 years, Savage has been a pioneer in the spoken word. His message of borders, language and culture have resonated with millions of listeners on a daily basis.

This year, listeners have a direct voice on who should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Beginning June 20th, listeners can text their choice by typing the nominee name and sending it to 36500.

Inductees will be announced Monday, July 11th. The induction ceremony will be held Thursday, November 17th at the Museum of Broadcast and Communications in downtown Chicago.
