Obama Administration Hopes to Boost Baltimore Summer Jobs Program

Baltimore is one of 16 cities the Obama administration is targeting to increase the number of young people hired for summer jobs at federal workplaces, the White House said Monday.
The “summer impact hub” designation means City Hall will work more closely with federal officials to help establish summer job work sites with federal agencies and contractors in the region. The White House did not provide measurable goals associated with the program.
