7-Year-Old Who Donated Hair to Cancer Patients Gets Cancer Diagnosis

A 7-year-old California boy who spent two years growing his hair to donate to kids with cancer has received a cancer diagnosis of his own.

Vinny Desautels, of Roseville, said he was happy to donate 13 inches of his blonde hair to “Wigs for Kids,” despite being teased by other children during the growing process, a local Fox News affiliate reported.

Now, the boy is battling stage 4 cancer that is spreading from his knee to behind his eye, causing him to squint, Mediate reported.
