A Dallas County grand jury indicted Johnny Manziel on a misdemeanor assault with bodily injury charge, according to reports.

The former Cleveland Browns quarterback, 23, is accused of hitting, kidnapping and threatening to kill 23-year-old Colleen Crowley in January.

Charges were brought on after a grand jury reviewed the case on Thursday, sources in the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office told KRLD.
