Baltimore Adding New Speed, Red Light Cameras

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore City Department of Transportation officials announced on Friday the addition of 19 speed cameras and 19 red light cameras throughout the city beginning March 19.

The addition is part of the City’s Automated Traffic Violation Enforcement System (ATVES) which is used to promote safe driving habits in the city. Officials say the initiative was designed to reduce speeds in school zones and decrease the number of cars running red lights.
